Signs of Life [CloudxReader AU]
Cloud could walk. His legs were shaky and his knees felt like rubber, but with the amount of adrenaline and pure fear in his blood he kept moving. Blood continued to drip from his hairline into his eyes, but he was too preoccupied to wipe it away.
"You need to sit down, sir." The white jacketed doctor urged him, "Your injuries are serious." He glanced over his shoulder, "I need some help over here! This is an emergency!"
Cloud roughly shoved past the doctor and continued down the white hall leaving a trail of blood drops as he went. His blue eyes darted across the room looking for the white bed he had been following.

TW: cursing and a bit of gore
You have never felt so irritated in your whole life.
You wanted to claw someone's eyes out, give them to a witch, and steal them back, only to put it in a jar with poison and lava.
You were usually a calm person most of the time, when no one was bugging you or disturbing you from your video games. But this... this was definitely different. And you wanted to get rid of it. Permanently.
But the feeling kept growing. Especially with the scene in front of you.
His hand held hers. He was smiling. He was happy with her.
You heard yet another chuckle from him. You felt as if someone ripped your heart and stabbed t

Two silvery metals clanged together, highlighted by the Crescent moon in the late night.
Two tired and exahusted, but at the same time fuelled up breaths met each other as the swords crossed.
Certain golden blonde's sky blue eyes pierced into your very own (e/c) ones. You both held victorious smirks on your faces, as if you were sure you both already won. Although, only the faintest ghost of smiles was present on Cloud's lips, but it was still there. Your already shallow-breathing lungs felt as heavy as if they were chain-

When Tseng is tired of his job, he does origami. Its nice to create little marvels out of scraps f paper. To make something beautiful and elegant. He tries to ignore that hes made almost 1,000 paper cranes at this point.
Rude counts. It doesnt matter what, he just starts numbering things. Its gotten to the point where no one except Reno can stand Rude during a stakeout, and thats just because the redhead talks over it.
Reno goes dancing when hes upset. It doesnt matter what kind, since hes learned everything from ballroom to breakdancing. He just needs to get out a
I am afraid that I am quite smitten by you.
Whenever I think of you,
my heart skips a beat.
Every time I read a note or poem written by you,
every time we communicate,
I am full of giddiness and joy,
I want to be near you always.
I want to talk with you for hours,
even if it's nothing important.
I long for your embrace,
but fear I might not be who or what you are expecting.
I want to see you.
It's hard to imagine a life with you right now,
a life where we see each other every day.
There is one thing of which I am sure though,
and that is I don't want to imagine a world without you in it.
Without you in my life.
I crave contact with you,

My mind leads itself to you
Your smile, your eyes, your walk
Stuck in my mind like glue
My heart races because of you
Your words, your touch, your laugh
Don’t even have a clue
My smile comes out because of you
Your jokes, your stories, your nicknames
That is just what you do

Take the Day Off. Hope x Reader
“Please be a dream. I don't want to be awake yet.” Tightly closing your eyes, you buried your face in the softness of your pillow and held your breath. Despite your hopes and your prayers, you heard the sound again just a couple of seconds later. Someone was at your front door, and they were refusing to go away. “Dang it. It's way too early for this.” More than a little annoyed, you threw your legs over the side of the bed, and marched to the door. Still half asleep and in your pajamas, you unbolted the lock and flung open the front door. “What do you wa-.” Quickly realizing who was standing in fro
